Things to do

Sarasota has a unique balance between the relaxing days sunbathing or boating and the active days in the village or downtown. And in the evening, you can enjoy an opera or concert after a drink on a rooftop bar. If you want to fill your days with outdoor activity - there is no shortage of things to do. Or if you just want to chill - you can choose one of many beaches and enjoy the sun.

The Beaches

If you are a beach bum, you picked the right place. Each Beach does have it's own unique vibe.

  • Lido Key - The closest beach to downtown is just as beautiful and a bit more chill than Siesta. Catch sunset at the Lido Key Tiki Hut.
  • Longboat Key - If you want to head up to Beer Can Island by Boat the northern tip of Longboat is a cool hangout
